Cowboys' Don Meredith dies after brain hemorrhage

Don Meredith including the Dallas Cowboys of the early most famous people, is ABC's "Monday Night Football" program group's founding members, died Sunday. He was 72.

Meredith's wife, Susan, told The Associated Press on Monday, after the death of her husband, suffered cerebral hemorrhage in Santa Fe, policy lapsing into a coma. She and her daughter Meredith's side when he died.

"He is the best there is," she said, described as kind, warm and interesting to him. "We lost a good one.
