The XM25.Playing Call of Duty

First and foremost, happy December! It's currently snowing in little ol' racist/hate-crime-conducting Whitewater!

Secondly, http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20101201/sc_afp/usmilitaryweaponsafghanistan read this.

How awesome is that??

Well, at least until the enemy gets a hold of one...

I'm not saying that the enemy will have an XM25 grenade launcher in their possession anytime soon, but it's inevitable that it will happen. Whether it's an XN25 or some other version of it. Much like Mikhail Kalasnikov based the AK-47 of the German weapon that mowed down Russian troops in World War 2, the STG-44, and created the most popular assault rifle of all time, a modern day Kalashnikov find a way to copy this new weapon.

While the thought of a weapon that can be given to a soldier that can seek out enemies behind walls sounds like a good idea, it is. At least while we're the only ones that have it. "You get behind something when someone is shooting at you, and that sort of cover has protected people for thousands of years," Lehner said in the article.

So where are troops suppose to hide? I can only imagine both sides having weapons like these in their possession and blowing each other away, and the winner is whoever can blow the enemy away first.

Just some food for thought.

I would have loved to have had this when Jerome and I were playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare last weekend.
