The Biome gets its power from solar energy and stores it in chemical bonds as BioNectar4534, just as plants collect, store and use solar energy in the process of photosynthesis. The company envisions the vehicle being able to take excess solar energies from plans through receptor retrofits that sap power in the form of BN4534

The Mercedes-Benz BIOME symbiosis vehicle is made from an ultralight material called BioFibre and tips the scales at just 875.5 lbs (around 394 kg). This material is significantly lighter than metal or plastic, yet more robust than steel. BioFibre is grown from proprietary DNA in the Mercedes-Benz nursery,
Thanks to its technology, the Biome Concept releases pure oxygen into the environment.
