Hu Jintao: to promote trade and investment liberalization


Chinese President Hu Jintao at the APEC (APEC) summit speech, proposed that the present Asia-Pacific trade protectionism "significantly enhanced."

Hu said that although currently the world economy is recovering, but still face greater uncertainty.

He said the Asia-Pacific economy has become a major force in the world economy, but also the Asia-Pacific region to achieve economic balance, inclusive and sustainable growth.

Hu said the Asia-Pacific region should continue to promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, accelerate the construction of regional economic integration.

He called on States to continue to promote the capital and commodities as well as the convenience of staff mobility in the region, "take concrete actions to oppose all forms of protectionism."

Hu also stressed that China itself is still a lot of difficulties, poverty eradication is still the country's main tasks.

Free trade zone

Some analysts believe that President Hu Jintao stressed that China's future economic development will remain focused in order to pacify the international community, especially the Japanese military expansion of China's national strength and concern.
