EDF Refinances Half Of Syndicated Loan And Increases Amount

PARIS (Dow Jones)--French power company Electricite de France SA (EDF.FR) said Monday it refinanced half of a syndicated loan that was due in 2012 and increased its amount by EUR1 billion to EUR4 billion.

The company now has two syndicated loans, one of EUR3 billion still maturing in 2012 and another of EUR4 billion maturing in 2015 with the possibility to extend it to 2017.
